A year and a half ago, we wrote about the price of our first Bluetooth speaker, the VOODOO Boombox.
For our second model, the VOODOO+, the question remains the same: why does the VOODOO+ speaker cost so much? Is it a fair price for a speaker like this?
How much does a VOODOO+ speaker cost?
Our new high-power portable speaker is now available at an average price of €899 incl. VAT.
We propose to broach the subject of price, because we hear again and again that our product is too expensive, that with 200€ it's possible to do the same thing, to have the same acoustic result, the same durability, the same autonomy...
Once again, the answer is obviously NO!
So we're continuing our transparent approach by breaking down the price of the VOODOO+Bluetooth speaker to demonstrate that we're not in the business of excessive pricing and outrageous margins. Be careful not to confuse a brand like PEOPEO, which offers " handmade made in France " products, with certain players in the audio embracement market who undercut market prices by slashing the quality and durability of their products. At PEOPEO, we simply have in mind the desire to develop quality, high-performance products based on real know-how developed in-house, with the sole mission of satisfying the ears of every user!
We believe that the best indicators to reflect the logic of our company are the price of components and product interventions.

The cost breakdown of our VOODOO+ enclosure is highlighted just below:
VOODOO+ manufacturing costs are divided into three categories: raw material costs, human costs for speaker assembly, and business expenses. At the top of the list are raw material costs. This reflects our desire to have, as a result, a great product!
The remainder, to reach the final price, is the margin that allows PEOPEO to move forward, to continue innovating and to support its team! We don't take that much after all, do we?
Note that this does not take into account product design and the assembly line, which go hand in hand with recognized know-how to achieve top-of-the-range results and audio quality.
Of course, the aim of all this is to raise awareness of the fact that developing, producing and selling a Handmade in France loudspeaker is a committed approach that fits in with a quality brand that advocates a sustainable development ethic. This will remain our way of doing things and our ambition for the future.
